I like to say I’ve been advising people about their insurance since I’ve been 2. When you grow up in the industry, it kind of just becomes a part of you.
My two brothers (Vince & Dave) and I bought the agency from our father and we never looked back. Carrying on the legacy means a lot to us and we still adhere to the core values he had when he started. We take care of our customers and we give back to the community.
When it comes to insurance, it’s all about what happens when there is a claim. We take the responsibility of making sure all our clients are properly covered pretty seriously! When there is a claim, we hold their hand through the process, we follow up to ensure adjusters are connecting with them and that they get their lives back to normal as soon as possible. That’s what being an independent insurance agent is all about.
My main role at ViVenzio is overseeing the personal insurance side of the house – home, auto, recreational vehicles – or toys as we so fondly call them! That doesn’t mean I haven’t written a business policy (or hundreds) in my time as an agent – but I mainly leave that area up to Vince and Dave.
Outside of the insurance world I’m busy! I am an active member of the Bolton Regional Lions Club – proud to be honored with a Melvin Jones fellowship award, Member of the Vernon Home and Garden Club, Volunteer at the Woodlake at Tolland Rehab Center and Volunteer at Vernon’s Summer Carnival Days as well as being quite active in my Church.
I have resided in Vernon with my husband John for over 45 years. We have one child and two grandsons.
